Bring the group.
Stay close. Go deeper.

Make time together the reason to get away. Plan church retreats, college and school overnights, corporate parties and retreats, or wedding guest stays around Princeton and Tiskilwa. Choose one property or combine local lodging for different budgets.

Build your rural road trip around time together.

Start with where your group is coming from.

Use your actual meeting point and departure time for a current drive estimate. For larger groups, confirm transport and arrival arrangements with your organizer.

Your last stop: pizza. Order ahead from my friends at Sticks and Bricks Wood-fired Pizza in Tiskilwa, just two miles from the farm. Swing by for pickup along your route and arrive with dinner ready. Check their current hours and ordering details first.

Combine yurt-glamping tents, affordable on-farm apartments, rooms, and the cabin. The listed sleeping arrangements accommodate 68 people across the farm; the larger maximum of 114 includes children and extra camping, subject to agreement and availability.

Bringing more people?

One gathering.
Different ways to stay.

There are great lodging and attraction options for all kinds of big groups: extended families, church retreats, college and school groups, corporate getaways, and wedding parties. Stay together or spread out across places that fit each person’s budget and style, then meet up for shared adventures.

For a wedding at The Barn, the bride might choose a cabin at The Wildflower, while the groom or other guests choose affordable on-farm apartments at Hungry World Farm. Others might prefer Tiskilwa Inn or camping at Condit’s Ranch. Your group can share the celebration without all booking the same kind of stay.

Build in a garden visit, a meal in town, a canal walk, or a prearranged farm experience. Book lodging and group activities separately, and plan how everyone will travel between them.

Route maps use Hungry World Farm as an example destination. Staying elsewhere? Set your chosen lodging as the destination before you travel. Compare all four recommended stays.
